Happy New Year!

Did you see the evening sky illuminated with the brilliant moon last night? Did you take a moment to look at it? A full moon represents a fresh start and I encourage you to reflect, recharge, and reassess where you find yourself. The full moon of January, known as the Hunger Moon offers a particularly advantageous opportunity to reset. This isn’t just a chance to just prepare for a new month — this is your chance to reflect upon the new year. Rather than challenging yourself to change dramatically, consider where you wished to improve last year, but never had the time or energy to. This is why the full moon is referred to as the Hunger Moon — ask yourself what you craved in 2017 but never found or accomplished.

Once you’ve determined what you want most this year, start planning how to go about getting it. Taking the time to reflect on the past year, under the clear light of the moon, is sure to illuminate what your next move should be.

This week, join me in seeking illumination at:

Peace Tree Yoga Wed 9 am

Bow Lake Grange Hall Wed 6pm and Fri 9am

If you feel like you need some extra support reaching your goals, consider booking a Yoga Therapy session with me to define, and direct your intentions. lanta@nourish.works

Also, if you are wanting to uplevel your habits this year, consider joining my Body Thrive Facebook book club. I read Body Thrive by Cate Stillman last year and have wanted to share it with you for a long time! It outlines 10 essential, daily body habits from Ayurveda and Yoga in a real, accessible way. We begin January 14 through March 25. 10 weeks. 10 habits. $25 includes the book and access to a private Facebook page where I will be posting questions for consideration, as well as offering support as we take on a higher level of living in 2018. I will limit the group to 20 members so be in touch if you want to participate.

Love and light,

Lanta
