Schedule Week of 12/23-12/29

This is it! The time we have been practicing for all month! The time where family gathers and you get off schedule and over caffeinated and eat too much of well, everything, but it’s ok. You may find yourself feeling overwhelmed by the busyness, the chaos, the strong emotion, or just the joy of it all. That’s ok too. You might feel challenged as if the expectation of being jolly is just too much to bear. It’s A-ok. At the end of the day, this too will pass. As all things do.

Take a deep breath. Savor the memories, and connections worth savoring. Let go of the things you can’t control… and remember, you have been cultivating your inner light and resiliency for a month. We have got this! Shine that light! Allow yourself to see the same light in others.  Everyone is doing the best they can. Meet them with the same compassion you would like to be shown when your best doesn’t feel like enough. I mean, what is enough any way? Who decides this? Let’s cast off these arbitrary measurements of success or failure and instead, show up with our arms and our hearts wide open. Imagine the possibilities….

 

This week, I will be teaching at Peace Tree Yoga M/W 9am and at the Bow Lake Community Club Fri at 9am. Sheila has been kind enough to offer a class Wednesday night at 6pm while I spend time with my brother and his family. Enjoy her offering!

 

It has been an honor to practice yoga with you this year. You fill my heart with such gratitude and joy!
