Yin Yoga Workshop

Yin Yoga is a way to open the deep tissues of the body (fascia, joints and ligaments) by holding poses for a longer length of time than an active yoga class (the yang side of yin/yang). In doing so, your mind gets a chance to rest and ultimately, you experience both more flexibility and a deep sense of peace from a calm mind. 

In the first hour of the workshop, Lois will discuss the philosophy behind the concepts, share the asanas used in this practice, and how your unique body relates to them. In the second hour, we will dive into a full Yin Yoga Practice. Expect to leave feeling informed, flexible and calm Win with Yin!
